Men's soccer begins season on Aug. 21

The Holmes Community College Bulldogs return 10 players from the 2024-25 squad to this year's 2025-26 team. The Bulldogs open the season on Thursday vs. Wallace State-Hanceville in Ridgeland at 4 p.m.

Returning players include: Jeremy Heflin, defender, Florence; Landon Campbell, midfielder, Northwest Rankin; Thomas Martin, defender, Clinton; Tyler Bogard, defender, Tupelo; Marcus Moore, forward, Alpharetta; Hunter Freeny, midfielder, Baker; Alejandro Robles, midfielder, B You Academy; Landon Slaven, forward, Brandon; Riley Moon, forward, Park Place; Jacob Roberts, midfielder, Park Place.

Newcomers include: Jesus Estrada, goalkeeper, Clinton; Jaydon Smith, goalkeeper, Southaven; Samir Garmakani, defender, Valencia College; Brady Peacock, forward, Pearl; Silas Sorey, midfielder, Hartfield; Bryan Silva, forward, Boca Raton; Victor Piccone, defender, Luis M. Inglesias; Jacob McGaugh, defender,  St. Augustine; Michael Callahan, defender, Brandon; Moises Hernandez, midfielder, Germantown; Joao Victor DeMoraes, forward; Kevin Ragoyta, defender, Richland; Aiden Bryan, defender, Itawamba AHS; Brandon Shaffer, forward, Starkville; and Hayden Boykin, forward, Florence. Peacock and Ragoyta are sophomores.

Matt Convertino returns as head coach of the Bulldogs. Hardy Lewis joins the staff as assistant coach.
