Bulldogs open season Nov. 4 vs. Delgado
The 2025-26 Holmes Community College Bulldogs return two players from the 2024-25 team that went 20-8 and fell in the first round the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament. The Bulldogs open the season on Nov. 4 at 7:30 p.m. vs. Delgado in Goodman.
Returning players include: Trey Alexander, guard, Clinton and Kameryn Bailey, center, Vicksburg.
Newcomers include: Jakobe Cavett, guard, freshman, Clinton; Isaiah Patrick, guard, freshman, Richland; David Washington, guard, freshman, Starkville; Tre'Voin Bass, guard, freshman, Forest Hill; Malik McGuire, forward, freshman, Maumelle, Ark.; Javarian Mallard, guard, freshman, Callaway; Jhamien Smith, forward, sophomore, Erie, Pa.; Andrew Mancell, forward, sophomore, Kosciusko; Emajai Horotn, guard, freshman, Lanier; Lebron Johnson, guard, freshman, Starkville; Markalon Rochell, forward, freshman, Maumelle, Ark.; and Deriyon Graydon, forward, freshman, Pine Bluff. Smith and Mancell are transfers to the program. Smith played for Jamestown Community College in 2023-24 and averaged 16.8 points per game and 6.1 rebounds per game. Mancell played last season at Mississippi Delta and averaged 8.6 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per game.
Coach Jason Flanigan returns as head coach of the Bulldogs and is in his 21st year at Holmes and his 18th as head coach. Marcus Washington is in his third year as the Bulldogs assistant coach.
