BOONEVILLE --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell in the last two seconds after battling back from a four-point deficit here Monday night to Northeast Mississippi Community College, 64-63.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fell to 11-6 overall and 2-4 in the North Division. Holmes travels to Northwest on Thursday night at 5 p.m.
Northeast led 32-28 at halftime, and the Lady Bulldogs outscored the Lady Tigers, 35-32, in the second half, but it wasn't enough as the Lady Tigers pulled out the win.
Minyone Hill led the Lady Bulldogs with 18 points while Aja Williams had 14 and Tiffany Jones had 10. LaShonda Wilson led the Lady Bulldogs with eight rebounds while Jones had seven.
