RIDGELAND --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up a 4-0 win here Saturday over Andrew College.
Holmes will return to action on Friday in Birmingham. They'll play Central Georgia at 4 p.m. They then will play Oxford College of Emory University at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Neither team was able to score in the first half Saturday.
Hunter Freeny got the Bulldogs on the scoreboard in the 49th minute on an assist from Alejandro Robles. Riley Moon then scored on a Bryan Silva assist a minute later to put Holmes up 2-0.
Freeny got his second goal of the day in the 55th minute to put Holmes up 3-0. Brandon Shaffer scored on an assist from Victor Piccone in the 69th minute to end all scoring.
Jesus Estrada played 90 minutes in goal and had three saves.
In a match Thursday vs. Dallas College-Mountain View, the Bulldogs fell 1-0.
