ELLISVILLE --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell here Thursday night, 85-62, to the Jones College Bobcats.
Holmes, now 17-3 and 5-2 in the MACCC, host Mississippi Delta Monday in Goodman.
Jones led 39-32 at halftime and then outscored the Bulldogs, 46-30, to take the win.
Cameron Wallace led the Bulldogs with 17 points while K.J. Sykes had 10. Wallace finished with 10 rebounds.
Against East Mississippi last Thursday, the Bulldogs dropped their first MACCC game, 63-53.
Holmes led by one at halftime but were outscored 36-25 in the second half.
Wallace led with 13 points while Kylan Clark had 11.
