GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 16-1 overall and 4-0 in the MACCC with a 74-72 win here Thursday over Southwest Mississippi Community College.
Holmes will travel to Co-Lin on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
Southwest led 36-34 at halftime and then outscored the Bears, 40-36, in the second half.
Cameron Wallace led the Bulldogs with 24 points while Trey Smith added 17 and K.J. Sykes had 10. Wallace and Smith each had seven rebounds.
The Bulldogs shot 54.3 percent from the field, 38.5 percent from three and 95 percent from the free throw line.
