Lady Bulldogs fall to Hinds Lady Eagles, 6-3

GOODMAN -- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell to the Hinds Community College Lady Eagles here on Feb. 27, 6-3.

Rebecca Shields defeated Maria Mafer, 6-4, 4-6, 11-9 and Ciarra Applewhite defeated Lotoya Whitney, 2-6, 7-5, 10-4. Johnna White, Marlee Herron, Akia Cabella and Shemice Knapp fell in singles. Knapp-Cabella won by default in doubles while Shields-White and Applewhite-Herron fell in doubles.
