McKinney named MACCC Player of the Week

Holmes Community College freshman forward Callie McKinney of Flowood has been named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for her play last week.

McKinney scored two goals and four assists in two Lady Bulldogs wins last week over East Central, 3-2, in overtime in Decatur on Tuesday and 9-3 against Northwest in Ridgeland on Friday. McKinney had an assist vs. East Central and two goals and three assists vs. Northwest.

She'll now be considered for NJCAA Player of the Week honors Wednesday.
