Ellis and Wilson named NJCAA All-Americans

Two Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs have been named to the NJCAA All-American Team for their play this season. Sophomore Cariel Ellis was named First Team All-American while sophomore Ravynne Wilson was named Second Team All-American.

Holmes captured the North Division title for the fifth consecutive time. They were the MACCC, NJCAA Region XXIII and NJCAA South District Champions and finished as the NJCAA DII Women's Soccer National Runner-up in Evans, Ga.

Ellis hails from Madison while Wilson hails from Meridian.

On the season, Ellis finished with 16 goals and eight assists while Wilson finished with 14 goals and four assists.

Ellis and Wilson were named to the NJCAA All-Region XXIII Team and to the NJCAA All-Tournament Team where Ellis was named the Most Outstanding Offensive Player.
