GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs battled back from a first half deficit to defeat the East Central Community College Lady Warriors, 66-62, here Thursday night.
Holmes, now 12-9 and 4-6 in the MACCC, travels to Miss. Delta on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
East Central led 30-25 before Holmes outscored East Central, 41-32, in the second half for the win.
Zion Harvey led with 27 points while Kelsey Joseph had 12 and Kiara Shelly had 10. Harvey and Shelly each had seven rebounds.
Against Gulf Coast on Monday, the Lady Bulldogs fell 68-56. Shelly led with 14 points while Cynia Johnson had 11 and Samora Moody had 10. Shelly had 11 rebounds.
