GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 7-3 with a 69-39 win over the Southwest Mississippi Community College Lady Bears here Thursday night.
Holmes will return to action on Jan. 7 at Williams Baptist.
The Lady Bulldogs led 20-0 after one period and 38-15 at halftime. Holmes outscored Southwest 31-24 in the second half to secure the win.
Jessica Cullins led the Lady Bulldogs with 12 points while Lakayla Lewis had 11. Lewis led with nine rebounds.
