SCOOBA --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 2-1 on the season with a 59-52 win over East Mississippi Community College here Monday night.
Holmes will travel to Baton Rouge on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
The Lady Bulldogs led 37-24 at halftime. East Mississippi outscored the Lady Bulldogs, 28-22, in the second half, but Holmes pulled out the win.
Zion Harvey led the Lady Bulldogs with 20 points while Kiara Shelly had 17. Da'Riyah Mayers led in rebounds with 12 while Shelly had 11.
