UTICA --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs picked up a 71-70 win over the Hinds Community College Lady Bulldogs here Thursday night.
Holmes, now 13-15 overall and 6-7 in the MACCC, ends the regular season on Monday in Goodman vs. Itawamba at 5:30 p.m.
The Lady Bulldogs led 31-25 at halftime but were outscored in the second half but hung on for the win.
Bella Roberts led with 27 points including five three-pointers. Kiara Howard and Kamren Edwards each had 10. Roberts and Kiara Shelly each had five rebounds.
