Holmes travels to South Arkansas on Friday.
Holmes led 29-26 at halftime and then outscored the Lady Bears, 40-34, in the second half for the win.
Savannah Hailey led the Lady Bulldogs with 29 points including five three-pointers while Katelyn Leavy added 11. Bella Roberts led with eight rebounds.
