GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs fell here Thursday night to the Southwest Mississippi Community College lady bears, 75-40, in MACCC action.
Holmes will travel to Co-Lin on Monday at 6 p.m.
The Lady Bulldogs led 14-12 after one period, but Southwest outscored Holmes, 17-6, in the second period to lead 29-20 at halftime. Southwest then outscored Holmes 46-20 in the second half to pull out the win.
Shanbriah Rule and Santia Robinson each had 10 points in the game. Sha'Toria Vigne and Rule each had four rebounds in the game. Lanie Potter had four blocks in the contest.
