Bunch and Manning named All-MACCC for 2021

JACKSON --- The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference announced the 2021 All-MACCC team, and the Lady Bulldogs placed two players on the team --- Gabrielle Bunch, First Team and Jordyn Manning, Second Team.

Bunch, a sophomore guard from Laurel, led the Lady Bulldogs in scoring with 12.9 points per game. She scored 220 points this season for the Lady Bulldogs and shot 39.3 percent from the field (72-of-183), 26.5 percent from the three-point line (18-of-68) and 77.3 percent from the free throw line (58-of-75). She had 2.5 assists per game, 1.9 steals per game and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Manning, a sophomore guard from Canton, finished with 12 points per game. She had 187 points on the season. She shot 35.4 percent from the field (61-of-147), 25 percent from the three-point line (14-of-56) and 64 percent from the free throw line (48-of-75). She had 1.9 assists per game, 1.9 steals per game and 4.6 rebounds per game.

The Lady Bulldogs finished the season 6-10 and fell to Southwest Mississippi Community College, 72-56, in the Region XXIII Tournament.
