Lady Bulldogs split with Lady Trojans
MOORHEAD --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs split two games with the Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans here Tuesday winning 5-1 and falling 5-4 in eight innings.
Holmes is scheduled to play at East Central on Saturday at 12/2 p.m.
Anne Elise Sartin got the start in game one and picked up the win. She gave up one run on three hits with six strikeouts and one walk. Cinclaire Simpson got three hits including a double while Jadyn Miles added two hits and Emma Fabre added a double.
In game two, Mollie Swilley got the start and went 5 1/3 innings. Josie Azlin went the final 2 1/3 innings and gave up two runs on three hits with four strikeouts and four walks.
Kaitlyn Jones, Swilley and Simpson each had two hits. Miley Billie added a double.
