RIDGELAND --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up 2-1 win over the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Wolves here Tuesday thanks to two first half goals from Louie Richard.

Holmes will return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 22 vs. Gulf Coast in Ridgeland at 3 p.m.

Richard scored in the 16th minute to put Holmes up 1-0 on an assist from Alejandro Robles. Co-Lin tied the match in the 20th minute before Richard nailed a penalty kick just before halftime to give Holmes the 2-1 lead. Neither team was able to score in the second half.
