RIDGELAND --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs went to 4-3-1 on the season after picking up a 7-2 win over the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers here Friday.
The Bulldogs will play Copiah-Lincoln Community College on Tuesday in Ridgeland at 3 p.m.
Kentaveun Ware scored on an assist from Odanci Ndayisaba in the 13th minute to give Holmes the 1-0 lead.
Bienvenue Sunzu scored in the 26th minute on a penalty kick. Ndayisaba scored again in the 29th minute to put Holmes up 3-0.
Northwest scored in the 32nd and 34th minute to make the score 3-2 at halftime.
Ndayisaba scored again in the 64th minute. He added his hat trick goal in the 80th minute on an assist from Nolan Owens to give Holmes the 5-2 lead. Ndayisaba got his fourth goal in the 81st minute on an assist from Edy Gael to make it 6-2.
Caleb Jones scored on an assist from Owens in the 88th minute to end all scoring at 7-2.
