WESSON --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs went to 2-1-1 after blowing past Copiah-Lincoln Community College here Wednesday, 6-0.
Michael Orcutt picked up two goals in the first half of play to help the Bulldogs jump out to a 2-0 lead. He scored a goal in the 35th minute and another goal in the 41st minute. Juan Flores scored just before half giving the Bulldogs the 3-0 at halftime.
In the second half, Reid Westover scored a goal on a free kick to make the score 4-0. Martin Cobb and Rene Saenz each added a goal to end the scoring at 6-0.
Holmes opens division play on Friday at 7 p.m. versus Hinds Community College in Raymond.
