SCOOBA --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell to 2-1 on the season after falling here Monday night to East Mississippi Community College, 83-75.
Holmes will travel to Baton Rouge at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Holmes led 43-35 at halftime, and the Lions outscored the Bulldogs 48-32 in the second half to pull out the win.
Trey Alexander led the Bulldogs with 24 points while Markalon Rochell had 13 and Jhamien Smith had 11. Rochell led in rebounds with five.
