CLARKSDALE --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs led by nine at the half here Monday night and cruised to an 80-56 win over the Coahoma Community College Tigers.
With the win, the Bulldogs went to 15-4 overall and 6-2 in the North Division. Holmes travels to Itawamba at 8 p.m. on Thursday night. The game can be watched live at letsgoicctv.com.
Holmes led 33-24 at halftime and then outscored Coahoma, 47-32, in the second half for the win.
D'Angelo Richardson led the Bulldogs with 21 points while Daryl Macon had 20. Cedric Harper led the Bulldogs with eight rebounds.
The Bulldogs shot 55.2 percent from the floor, 35.3 percent from the three-point line while Coahoma shot 31.7 percent from the floor and 73.3 percent from the free-throw line.
