Bulldogs defeat Trojans, 68-47

MOORHEAD --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs improved to 11-4 and 2-2 in the North Division here Tuesday night with a 68-47 win over the Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans.

The Bulldogs will be on the road Thursday night at Scooba versus East Mississippi. Gametime is 7:30 p.m.

The Bulldogs led 35-16 and then outscored Delta 33-31 in the second half. Holmes shot 39.3 percent from the floor, 28.6 percent from the three-point line and 80 percent from the free throw line while Delta shot 28.3 percent from the floor, 10 percent from three-point line and 78.6 percent from the free throw line.

Xavier Williams led the Bulldogs in scoring with 15 points while D'Angelo Richardson and R.J. Scott finished with 13. Scott led with 11 rebounds.
