BATON ROUGE, La. --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs broke a three-game losing streak here Monday afternoon with an impressive 80-66 win over Baton Rouge Community College, who had defeated the Bulldogs earlier in the season.

The game was tied at 3 at halftime. The Bulldogs then outscored the Bears in the second half 44-30 to pull out the win. Holmes led by 19 in the second half, 74-55. Travis Johnson led the Bulldogs with 21 points while Dayshawn Watkins had 19 and Tamarico Wilson had 12. Johnson and Banks each had seven rebounds.
