Smith signs with Louisiana Christian University in Pineville, La.

Former Holmes Community College Bulldog Reese Smith has signed a national letter of intent with the Louisiana Christian University Wildcats in Pineville, La.

Louisiana Christian University plays in the Red River Athletic Conference.

Smith, an infielder from Baton Rouge, La., finished his sophomore season with 20 hits and seven runs scored with seven doubles, one triple and one homerun with 13 RBI. As a freshman, he batted .302 with 39 hits and 20 runs with seven doubles, one triple and two homeruns with 21 RBI.
