Bulldogs fall to Indians in DH Tuesday
GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell twice here Tuesday to the Itawamba Community College Indians, 12-1 and 13-1.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to play Meridian Community College on Saturday at 2/5 p.m. in Meridian.
In game one, Charlie Lott got the start and suffered the loss. He gave up seven runs on four hits with one strikeout and two walks. Parker Wood and Gray McCarter also pitched in the game.
Dalton Luke had a homerun in the game while Cole Drake added a double.
In game two, Cade Johnson got the start and suffered the loss. He gave up nine runs on three hits with four walks. Hayden Bosarge and Heath McBride also pitched in the game.
Drake led the Bulldogs with a double.
