Rangers take two from Bulldogs Friday

SENATOBIA --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell here Friday to Northwest Mississippi Community College, 12-5 and 13-6.

Holmes will travel to East Mississippi on Tuesday at 2/5 p.m.

In game one, Dillon Spears suffered the loss. He went 4 1/3 innings and gave up five runs on three hits with three strikeouts and five walks. Jake McKay, Cade Johnson and Hayden Bosarge pitched in the contest.

Darian Duhon led the Bulldogs with two hits including a double and triple. Hayden Beall added a double.

In game two, Matthew Koch suffered the loss. He went 2 1/3 innings and gave up seven runs on three hits with three strikeouts and four walks. Heath McBride, Cameron Pilgrim and Cordarius Brown pitched in the game.

Austin Telano and Kenneth Moore led the Bulldogs with two hits with each having a double. Cade Pinnix had a two-run homerun in the game.
