Bulldogs fall to Trojans, 15-8 and 12-11

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell twice here Tuesday to the Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans, 15-8 and 12-11.

Holmes is scheduled to play at Northwest on Friday at 2/5 p.m.

In game one, Alex Frillman got the start and suffered the loss. He went 3 2/3 innings and gave up 10 runs on 11 hits with four strikeouts and three walks. Will Cook went 3 1/3 innings and gave up five runs seven hits with three strikeouts.

Austin Telano led the Bulldogs with three hits while Abbott Hankins, Cole Drake, Dalton Luke and Frillman each had two hits. Darian Duhon added a two-run homerun.

In game two, Brody Wilkins got the start. He went two innings and gave up seven runs on six hits with two strikeouts and two walks. Cade Johnson went 1 2/3 innings and picked up the loss. He gave up four runs on three hits with four walks. Parker Wood went 3 1/3 innings and gave up one run on two hits with two strikeouts and one walk.

Hankins led the Bulldogs with three hits including a solo homerun. Duhon and Frillman each had two hits with Frillman adding two doubles. Ethan Parmegiani added a double.
