Bulldogs fall to East Central Warriors Saturday

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell twice here Saturday vs. East Central Community College, 14-6 and 15-4.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday vs. Co-Lin in Goodman at 2/5 p.m.

In game one, Matthew Koch suffered the loss. He went four innings and gave up nine runs on six hits with three strikeouts and five walks. Landon Herbert went three innings and gave up five runs on two hits with two strikeouts and four walks.

Austin Telano and Abbott Hankins each had two hits for the Bulldogs with Hankins adding a homerun. Alex Frillman had a three-run homerun for the Bulldogs.

In game two, Brody Wilkins suffered the loss. He went two innings and gave up five runs on six hits with two walks. Charlie Lott went 1 1/3 innings and gave up six runs on five hits with one walk and one strikeout. Heath McBride went 2/3 of an inning and gave up a hit with one walk while Cade Johnson went two innings and gave up four runs on five hits with three strikeouts and one walk.

Telano had two hits in game two. Ethan Parmegiani had a solo homerun while Tyler Starnes added a double.
