Bulldogs fall twice at Itawamba, 3-2 and 12-2

FULTON --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell twice here Tuesday to the Itawamba Community College Indians falling 3-2 in game one and 12-2 in game two.

Holmes will travel to Hinds on Saturday for a 1/3 p.m. doubleheader.

Matthew Koch got the start in game one. He went three innings and gave up one run on four hits with two strikeouts and two walks. Parker Wood went three innings and gave up one run on two hits with two strikeouts and two walks. Cameron Pilgrim went 1/3 of an inning and gave up one run with four walks.

The Bulldogs had eight hits with Darian Duhon adding a solo homerun in the fifth.

In game two, Hayden Bosarge took the loss. He gave up four runs on one hit with three walks and two strikeouts. Brody Wilkins, Cordarius Brown, Cade Johnson, Dillon Spears and Jake McKay also pitched in the game.

Duhon and Jase Grantham each had a hit in game two.
