Johnson named Holmes CC's Player of the Week

GOODMAN --- Holmes freshman forward Cynia Johnson on the women's basketball team has been named Holmes CC's Player of the Week for her play last week.

Johnson, a Vicksburg product from Vicksburg, had a double double (20 points, 13 rebounds, in Holmes' 55-47 win over Mississippi Delta Monday night in Goodman. The Lady Bulldogs return to action on Dec. 3 vs. Baton Rouge.
