Shelly, Wallace named Holmes CC's Players of the Week

GOODMAN --- Holmes Community College freshman guard/forward Kiara Shelly on the women's basketball team and sophomore forward Cameron Wallace on the men's basketball team have been named Holmes Community College Players of the Week following their play last week.

Shelly, a North Pontotoc product from Saltillo, had 27 points in two games and pulled in 10 rebounds. Holmes picked up MACCC wins over Co-Lin and East Mississippi.

Wallace, a Parkview product from Little Rock, Ark., had 28 points in two games and 12 rebounds. Holmes picked up a MACCC win over Co-Lin but fell to East Mississippi on Thursday.
