Phillips, Pearson named Holmes CC's Players of the Week

GOODMAN --- Holmes Community College sophomore forward Kristen Phillips on the women's soccer team and freshman midfielder Adrian Pearson on the men's soccer team have been named Holmes Community College Players of the Week following their play last week.

Phillips, a West Lauderale product from Collinsville, scored the tying goal against Pearl River Friday. She finished with one goal. Holmes and Pearl River ended in a 2-2 draw. The Lady Bulldogs will host East Central on Tuesday and Northwest on Friday, both in Ridgeland.

Pearson, a Niceville product from Niceville, Fla. scored the Bulldogs' lone goal against Pearl River Friday. The Bulldogs will play East Central on Tuesday and Northwest on Friday, both in Ridgeland.
