Lopez and Smith named Players of the Week

Brianna Lopez and Deion Smith have been named Players of the Week for their play last week.

Lopez, a sophomore forward from Fort Smith, Ark., finished the week with five shots and three shots on goal and scored two goals and assisted on four others in two games versus Meridian and Itawamba. The No. 2 Lady Bulldogs won 7-1 over Meridian and 4-0 over Itawamba. Smith, a sophomore receiver from Jackson, finished the game Thursday with East Miss. with eight catches for 156 yards and two touchdowns.
