Lopez and Arroyo win first POTW Award for the 2023-24 year

Beginning with the 2023-24 athletic season, Holmes Community College will begin awarding Players of the Week to the most outstanding players during the previous week's play.

Brianna Lopez of Fort Smith, Ark. and Josiah Arroyo of Crestview, Fla., both of the college's soccer program, received the honor for the first week.

Lopez scored two goals and four assists vs. MUW on Friday in Ridgeland while Arroyo had a goal and an assist in the Bulldogs' 4-0 win over East Mississippi in Scooba Friday.
