Holmes teams defeat East Central in fall scrimmage

The Holmes women's tennis team defeated East Central Community College, 5-1, in a recent scrimmage held in Goodman.

In No. 1 doubles, Rebecca Shields and Alex Moore defeated Cassie Munn and Alex Weir, 8-2. Akia Cabella and Morgan Pettit lost to ECCC 1-6, 2-6.

Rebecca Shields defeated Cassie Munn, 7-5,6-1; Alex Moore defeated Alex Weir, 6-1,6-3; Shermice Snapp defeated Persphoncy Wongo 7-4, 4-6, 7-4; and Mary Brooke Lott defeated India Ball 6-0, 6-0.
