Bulldog teams win fall scrimmage

The Holmes men's tennis team defeated East Central, 7-2, in a fall scrimmage in Goodman recently.

Results were as follows: No. 1 doubles, Darryl Hale and Hunter Box defeated Blake Cochran and Danny Smith, 8-0; No. 2 doubles, Corey Macumber and Jarod Lyons defeated Levi French and Lucas Calvert, 8-4; and No. 3 doubles, Evan Campbell and Grey Tedford defeated Chris Mays and Ty Young, 8-2.

In singles the results were as follows: Darryl Hale defeated Danny Smith, 6-0,6-2; Hunter Box defeated Levi French, 7-5,6-0; Jarod Lyons defeated Ty Young, 6-1, 6-1; Grey Tedford defeated Danny Smith 6-3, 6-0; Corey Macumber fell to Blake Cochran, 5-7, 4-6; and Lajoe Johnson fell to Chris Mays, 0-6, 1-6.
