Box and Hale play in the Southern Mississippi Invitational Tournament

Hunter Box of Grenada and Darrly Hale, Jr. of Detriot were invited to play in the University of Southern Invitational Tournament. USM, Lamar University, Nichols State University, Holmes Community College and Itawamba Community College participated. The two played well but finished 1-2 versus the Div. I schools.

They also participated in the USTA/ITA Regional Tournament September 29- Oct. 1. Participating were teams from Co-Lin, Hinds, Holmes, Itawamba, Jones, meridian, and Mississippi Gulf Coast. Hunter and Hale finished with 3-1 records for the tournament. Hale won the consolation bracket.
