Bulldogs finish ninth in MACJC Event. No. 5 at Mississippi State

STARKVILLE --- The Holmes Community College men's golf team played Sunday and Monday in the MACJC Event No. 5 here and finished in 9th place. Trey Johnson shot 13 over-par to finish tied for 22nd place.

The team shot a 327 on Sunday and 327 on Monday. Johnson shot 79 on Sunday and 76 on Monday. Others scores for the two days included: Chase Ward (16 over-par); Taylor Worsham (29 over-par); John Jolly (30 over-par); Tyler James (35 over-par); and Ben Herrington (40 over-par).

The team returns to action on April 14-15 in the MACJC State Tournament at Dixie Golf Club in Laurel.
