FULTON --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs fell here Monday night to the Itawamba Community College Indians 66-64.
With the loss, the Bulldogs fell to 10-11 overall and 4-6 in the North Division. Holmes plays Northeast on Feb. 18 in the final home game of the season and then travel to Northwest on Feb. 21 in the final regular season game of the year. The loss pushes the Bulldogs out of a playoff spot, and with two games to play, the Bulldogs will need wins and help to make the playoffs.
Demarcus Lewis, DeAndre Scott and Kenitric Gillum each had 11 points in the game while Okoye Riley added 10. Lewis and Enitial Rucker each added five rebounds.
