Cheer stunt clinic set for March 4, 19 and 25; Tryout set for March 28

The Holmes Community College Cheerleading Squad has set three stunt clinics for March 4, March 19 and March 25 before the tryout is set for March 28.

Prep Clinics are from 3:30pm – 5:30pm on the Goodman Campus in the Cheer Gym located in the Career Technical Building behind Cosmetology.

Free of Charge 

There will be females and males to stunt, work on technique, and ask questions.  Prep clinics are a good opportunity to meet the coach, tour campus, talk to former cheerleaders as well as work on the material required for tryouts.

Tryout requirements:

All potential student athletes should be accepted to Holmes Community College, physically fit, and have completed the application for tryouts.

Females: chant, fight song, toe touch, coed stunts

Males: coed stunts, shoulder stands

**Tumbling is not required, but highly encouraged for both males and females.

Location : Coliseum, Goodman Campus

Registration and Warm Up : 2:30 pm

Teach and Review Material : 3:00 pm

Tryout : 3:30 pm

Attire : white tank or shirt and black shorts

Please be sure that you have printed a copy of the application for tryouts and documentation of a physical from a medical physician.
