CLARKSDALE --- The Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs improved to 6-14 and 3-6 in the North Division with a 64-50 win over the Coahoma Community College Lady Tigers here Thursday night.
Holmes led by as many as 15 points in the first half and led 31-23 at the half. Carmesha Nalls led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 points while LaShonda Wilson had 13 and Taylor Johnson had 12. Johnson led with 12 rebounds while Wilson had nine.
In a game Monday night, the Lady Bulldogs fell to Mississippi Delta, 78-55. Johnson led the Lady Bulldogs with 19 points while Nalls had 14. Laricka Morgan had 10 rebounds in the game.
