SUMMIT --- The Southwest Mississippi Community College Lady Bears jumped out to a 20-point lead at halftime and went on to defeat the Holmes Community College Lady Bulldogs 61-25 here Thursday night.
With the loss, the Lady Bulldogs fell to 3-9 on the season. The Lady Bulldogs host the Lady Tigers of Coahoma Community College on Monday night in Goodman at 6 p.m.The game can be watched at holmesathletics.ihigh.com.
Southwest led 39-19 at halftime.
Brandi Carter led the Lady Bulldogs with 11 points while LaShonda Wilson led the Lady Bulldogs in rebounding with 10.
