Bulldogs defeat Eagles, 7-2

RAYMOND --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs defeated the Hinds Community College Eagles, 7-2, here on Feb. 16.

In singles, Darryl Hale defeated Yehoeney Horbik, 6-4, 6-4; Hector Custode defeated Gary Blissard, 6-1, 7-5; Cory Maccumber defeated Esmond Fountain, 6-4, 6-0; Grey Tedford defeated Chris Harper, 6-3, 6-1; and Brett Parker won by default. Hunter Boxx fell to Max Gunbin, 7-5, 1-6, 4-10.

In doubles, Custode-Tedford defeated Blissard-Harper, 8-1 and Lyons-Parker won by default. Hale-Boxx fell in doubles.
