Bulldogs defeat Eagles, 7-2

GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs defeated the Hinds Community College Eagles, 7-2, here in Goodman on Feb. 27.

In singles, Darryl Hale defeated Yenueney Horbik, 6-3, 6-4; Hector Custode defeated Gary Blissard, 6-0, 6-0; Jarod Lyons defeated Esmond Fountain, 6-4, 6-1; and Brett Parker won by default. Hunter Boxx and Grey Tedford fell in singles.

In doubles, Hale-Boxx defeated Horbik-Max Gunbin, 8-5; Custode-Corey Maccumber defeated Blissard-Chris Harper, 8-3; and Lyons-Paker won by default.
