Johnson finishes tied for seventh at MACJC Event No. 3

WESSON --- The Holmes Community College men's golf team played Sunday and Monday in the MACJC Event No. 3 at Wolf Hollow at Copiah-Lincoln and finished in 10th place. Trey Johnson shot six over-par to finish tied for seventh place.

The team shot a 336 on Sunday and 322 on Monday. Johnson shot 77 on Sunday and 73 on Monday. Others scores for the two days included: Taylor Worsham (20 over-par); Ben Harrington (29 over-par); John Jolly (32 over-par); Tyler James (32 over-par) and Chase Ward (38 over-par).

The team returns to action on March 25-26 at North Creek in Southaven and Wedgewood in Olive Branch.
