Bulldogs finish ninth in MACJC Event No. 2 at Eagle Ridge

RAYMOND --- The Holmes Community College men's golf team played Friday and Saturday in the MACJC Event No. 2 at Eagle Ridge at Hinds Community College and finished in ninth place. Trey Johnson and Taylor Worsham each shot 26 over-par to finish tied in 35th place.

The team shot a 353 on Friday and 339 on Saturday. Johnson shot 87 on Friday and 83 on Saturday while Worsham shot 88 on Friday and 82 on Saturday. Others scores for the two days included: Tyler James (32 over-par); John Jolly (33 over-par); Ben Herrington (34 over-par); and Chase Ward (38 over-par).

The team returns to action on March 17-18 at Wolf Hollow on the campus of Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson.
