GOODMAN --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs went to 2-2 in the North Division here with a 79-67 win over the Northeast Mississippi Community College Tigers.
With the win, the Bulldogs went to 10-5 overall. Holmes travels to Northwest on Monday night in a 7 p.m. matchup.
The Bulldogs led 31-21 at halftime before the Tigers battled back to within six points with 2:50 remaining in the game. The Bulldogs poured it on down the stretch to pull out the 12-point win.
Rodriques Palmer led the Bulldogs with 15 points in the game while Tamarico Wilson followed with 13, Dayshawn Watkins had 12 and Ondarious Hamlin had 11. Travis Johnson and Wilson each had six rebounds.
