Bulldogs go to 5-2; head into Thanksgiving break

UTICA --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs picked up their fifth win of the season here Thursday night to improve to 5-2 overall with an 82-67 win over the Hinds Community College Bulldogs.

Holmes had four players in double figures with Dayshawn Watkins leading the way with 20 points. Justin McCleary had 15 points all on three-pointers while Marcus Washington added 13 and Tamarico Wilson had 12. Patrick Banks led with 12 rebounds.

Holmes led 42-34 at halftime and then pulled away at the end to its largest lead at 15 points.

Holmes returns to action on Monday, Dec. 2 against Southwest Mississippi Community College in Goodman. The game can be watched at holmesathletics.ihigh.com.
