WESSON --- The Holmes Community College Bulldogs trailed Copiah-Lincoln Community College by six points at halftime, 38-32, but battled back in the second half to pull out the 74-70 victory in the non-division contest.
The Bulldogs went to 2-1 on the season and host East Central Community College in Goodman on Monday night at 8 p.m. Holmes then hosts Meridian Community College on Thursday in Goodman at 8 p.m. Both games can be watched live at holmesathletics.ihigh.com.
Dayshawn Watkins led the Bulldogs with 18 points while Patrick Banks added 13 points. Tamarico Wilson, Thomas Alexander and Banks each had four rebounds. Wilson had nine points while Alexander had six.
